The
RTFM is a 7 day (49 hours) programme
conducted by the Malaysian Association of Productivity (MAP)
in collaboration with The Chartered Institute of Logistics
and Transport (CILT).
Successful
candidates who pass the Examination and Tests will be issued
a certificate of competency by the Chartered Institute
of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
OBJECTIVE
This course is specially designed to develop professionals
with the knowledge and ability to strategize, plan and implement
changes where necessary to maximize productivity in the transport
industry.
SUCCESSFUL
CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO:

Analyze
present systems and identify cost and profit centers,
deficiencies and institute remedial solutions to improve
productivity.

Strategize
to improve existing systems through modification or introducing
new and more cost effective systems taking into consideration
the larger Transport Fleet Operation.

Acquire
knowledge of new technologies and concepts to make business
decisions for the future.

Understand
the operations and functions of the total logistics chain,
in particular transport fleet management, economics and
finance.

Comprehend
the principle of laws governing regulations and accountability
when dealing with staff in a logistics environment and
be able to implement effective organizational objectives
with minimal discord thus maintaining harmony in the working
environment.
